What it is
What exactly is Karyo?
An employee you message on WhatsApp. It builds your website from your Google listing, registers your domain in your name, keeps your Google Business Profile in sync, and collects every enquiry in one place. It is software, built on AI, but you never see a prompt box or a dashboard. You talk, it works, you approve.
Is it a website builder?
No. Builders give you an editor and leave you to do the work. Karyo does the work and shows you the result. The difference shows up after launch: with a builder, the site slowly goes stale. With Karyo, "Sunday closed" in a chat is the whole edit.
Is it an agency?
Karyo isn't. It is one product with two plans, Starter and Employee. If you want more than the employee, a website designed around you, a portal, a CRM or a system, that is Karyo Studio: the same team, built to order, quoted in writing. Studio builds it, the Karyo employee runs it afterwards.
Do I need to learn prompting?
No. Write what you'd tell staff: "add these photos", "Diwali pe 3 din band", "reply to the new review". Hindi, English, Hinglish or voice notes. If Karyo is unsure, it asks instead of guessing.
Ownership
Who owns the domain?
You. It is registered with you as the owner and Karyo as the technical contact. If you leave, you get the transfer code on request. This is written into the terms.
Who owns the website and the enquiries?
You own your business record (every fact, photo and enquiry), and you can export it at any time as plain files. The software that turns the record into a website is Karyo's, and keeps running while you subscribe.
What happens if I stop paying?
The site stays up to the end of the paid period, then shows a simple "contact us" page with your phone and WhatsApp for 30 days before it comes down. Your domain and your export stay yours.
Can Karyo manage my Google Business Profile?
Yes, once you connect it, which takes one tap on a link Karyo sends. From then on hours, services, photos and posts stay in sync with your site, and new reviews come to you with a suggested reply. Google requires that you are told of every change, so Karyo tells you in the thread.
Will my site show up on Google?
Karyo builds it the way Google asks: fast, mobile-first, with structured data about your business. That makes you eligible to be found, including in Google's AI answers. It does not guarantee a rank, and nobody honest can.
What about JustDial, IndiaMART, Instagram?
Karyo gives you one link page you can put on Instagram and your WhatsApp profile. It does not post to directories yet. Keeping directories consistent with your record is on the roadmap.
Safety
Can Karyo publish something wrong?
Not on its own. Every change is described to you first and applied on your yes. If you approve something and regret it, "undo" brings the last version back. Karyo never adds reviews, awards, counts or claims you did not give it.
Is my data used to train anything?
No. Your record and your conversations are used to run your business and nothing else. See the privacy page.
Is there a human?
Yes. Type "human" in the thread. On the Reviewed launch, a person checks the whole site before it goes live.
Fit
Which businesses is Karyo for?
Any business customers find on Google and message on WhatsApp: workshops, detailing studios, pre-owned car dealers, parts stores, clinics, coaching centres, shops, salons, hotels, agents, schools. See for your business.
Which businesses is it not for?
Online stores with a cart and payments, and businesses that need bookings, job cards, stock or billing software. For car workshops and dealers, that is Kenro, our sister product. For everything else, we'll say so on WhatsApp rather than sell you the wrong thing.
Do you work outside Delhi NCR?
Karyo works anywhere in India. We are onboarding Delhi NCR first so a person can visit if a launch needs it.
