Why businesses come to us
A website should bring in work, not sit there.
We hear the same things from owners. "Customers say they couldn't find us on Google." "The site looks fine on a computer but breaks on a phone." "The person who built it stopped answering, and nobody has the login." "We get no enquiries from it, so we stopped looking at it."
Some have never had a website, because the shop has done well on reputation for thirty years, until a new competitor appears at the top of Google Maps.
A good business website gets you found, answers the customer's questions and makes the next step easy. We build every site to do all three, then keep it working.
New build or redesign
Starting from nothing, or starting again.
A new website
For a business going online for the first time, or one whose old site is beyond saving. We start with your customers: what they search for and what they need to see before they call or visit. The pages, copy and design follow from that, and the site launches with your Google Business Profile and analytics in place.
A website redesign
For a business whose site is slow, dated, hard to edit or not bringing in enquiries. We audit it first: which pages get visitors and which searches find you. Those pages are kept, or redirected properly if they change, so the redesign builds on your search position instead of resetting it.
What's included
What every website project includes.
Part of every site we build, whether five pages or fifty, and listed in your proposal so you know exactly what you are paying for.
If you want to be found for more searches after launch, our SEO service continues the work month by month.
- Structure and copy
- Pages planned around what customers ask before they buy, and the words written for each. You approve every page.
- Custom design
- A design made for your business and your brand, not a template with your logo dropped in.
- Mobile-first build
- Most visitors arrive on a phone, so every page is designed for the phone first.
- Page speed
- Compressed images, lean code and delivery from Vercel's global network, so pages open quickly on mobile data.
- On-page SEO
- Titles, descriptions, headings, clean addresses, structured data and a sitemap, set up from day one.
- Google Business Profile
- Your Google Search and Maps listing set up or corrected: category, hours, photos and a link to the site.
- Analytics
- Visitor and enquiry tracking from launch, so you can see which pages bring in business.
- Enquiry forms to your inbox
- Contact and quote forms that arrive in your email with the details you need to reply.
- A content editor your team can use
- Change text, photos, products, offers and announcements yourself, without calling a developer.
- Product catalogue and enquiry pages
- For shops, manufacturers and distributors: products or services with photos, specifications and an enquiry button on each.
Who it's for
Websites for every kind of business.
A store needs directions and stock; a factory needs specifications; a clinic needs timings and doctors. We build for each.
Family businesses getting their first website
A shop, trading house or manufacturer that has run on reputation for decades. We put you on Google without changing how the counter, the registers or the staff work.
Retail stores and chains
Single stores and chains whose customers want the nearest branch, the range and the timings.
Salons, gyms and studios
Salons, gyms, studios and coaching centres that need services, prices, timings and location shown clearly.
Factories, mills and distributors
Manufacturers and traders who need a catalogue with specifications and a clear way to ask for a quote.
Clinics, schools and institutes
Practices, diagnostic centres, institutes and schools that need timings, departments or admissions presented clearly.
Real estate, hospitality and services
Builders, brokers, hotels, restaurants and agencies whose customers decide online first.
Going online is usually the first step, and it does not have to change how the business runs. Read how we help businesses go digital at their own pace.
How it's delivered
Five stages, with something to approve at each one.
You see the site take shape on a private staging link throughout, and nothing goes live until you have signed it off. The build fee is paid in stages: at the start, at prototype sign-off and at go-live.
| Stage | What happens | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| 01 · Discover | A conversation about the business, your customers and the current site. | A written proposal and fixed quote within 3 working days. |
| 02 · Design | Page structure, copy and the visual design, for the phone and the desktop, before any code is written. | A clickable prototype for your sign-off. |
| 03 · Build | Development on a private staging link you can open any time. | A working demo every two weeks. |
| 04 · Launch | Content loaded, redirects set, Google Business Profile and analytics connected, your team trained on the editor. | A live site on your domain, and a short handover guide. |
| 05 · Manage | Hosting, backups, security updates, monitoring and your change requests under the AMC. | A monthly report on uptime, changes and requests. |
Scope and launch date are fixed in the proposal. Training on the content editor is given on the job, in English and Hindi. How every Karyo project runs.
After launch
Hosted, maintained and kept up to date.
A website needs looking after: security updates, backups, a new offer on the home page, a price list that changes each season. Under an annual maintenance contract we take care of it, so nobody on your team has to.
As the business grows, the same site connects to a customer or dealer portal or a CRM or ERP without starting again.
- Hosting and backups
- Managed hosting with daily backups.
- Security and uptime
- SSL, security updates and uptime monitoring.
- Changes on request
- Bug fixes and a monthly allowance of change requests.
- Response times
- Site down: same working day. Everything else: within 2 working days, by email.
- Billing
- GST invoices, paid by UPI or bank transfer.
What stays yours
Your website belongs to your business.
Many owners come to us after losing access to a site someone else registered. We set every project up the other way round.
- Your domain, in your name.
- We register the domain to your business, or move an existing one into your name.
- Your content and data, exportable any time.
- Pages, images and enquiries can be exported whenever you ask, during the contract and after it.
- Your content and custom work.
- Your words, photos and anything built only for you are yours. The website platform is licensed while your plan runs; a full copy of your site can be bought out if you ever need it.
- A clean handover if you move on.
- If you end your plan, we hand over your content, domain and every login within 30 days of your notice.
Who builds it
Built by a team that runs its own software in live businesses.
Karyo is a brand of TUD Innovations (OPC) Private Limited, New Delhi, the company behind Kenro (opens in a new tab), the automotive software proven on a working workshop floor and running at a pre-owned car showroom in Delhi.
Website development: common questions
How long does a business website take?
Most business websites take 3 to 5 weeks from the signed proposal to launch. The exact date depends on the number of pages, and it is fixed in the proposal before work begins.
Can you redesign our existing website instead of starting again?
Yes. We audit the current site first, keep the pages that already bring in visitors, and redirect any address that changes, so you keep the search ranking you have.
Do you write the content, or do we?
We write it, working from a conversation with you and the material you already have, such as brochures and catalogues. You review every page before it goes live.
Will we be able to update the website ourselves?
Yes. Every site comes with a content editor for text, photos and products. Under the AMC we also make changes for you from a monthly allowance of requests.
Can the website take online payments?
Most of the sites we build are product catalogue and enquiry sites. Online payments through a payment gateway can be added where the business needs them, and are scoped in the proposal.
Who owns the domain and the website?
You do. You own your data, your domain, your content and any custom work built only for you, and you can export everything at any time. The platform underneath is licensed while your AMC runs, the way Shopify or Zoho work. If Karyo ever stops trading, you get a permanent licence to the code your system runs on, and if you need your own copy of the code, you can buy one.
Do you build websites for businesses outside India?
Yes. Websites are delivered remotely, so we work with businesses anywhere, with the same process and demos.
